2025 Ladder prediction coming this weekend!
Good day footy fans from Sandusky Ohio, along the North Coast of the U.S. We finally reached double digits yesterday, reaching 11c. .....and yes, that is shorts and t-shirt weather around here. Funny, as just about 2 1/2 weeks ago, it was close to -20c. Definitely NOT shorts and t-shirt weather. We get some SERIOUS weather around here....but the summers are awesome!
Tomorrow, I'll be recording my 17th and Saturday, my 18th and final preview episode for the 2025 AFL season. The first 16 are all available on my website (and you can follow this link for each episode).
Also this weekend, I'm going to be putting together my ladder predictions for 2025. Actually, I'm going to be doig two different ladder predictions. The first one is going to be unlike any prediction that I've done in the past, and I think you'll really enjoy it. It will be great to listen to on my podcast, but might just be a bit better to watch on my youtube channel. There will definitely be a significant visual aspect to this particular episode.
I've theorized during these preview episodes that this year's ladder is wide open, and you could make a valid argument as to why 15 or 16 clubs could find their way into the top 8. I'm going to attempt to do that very thing.
Hawthorn jumped up 9 spots on the ladder between 2023 and 2024. Could someone else be this year's Hawthorn? I think it is possible. Are any clubs that are ready to take a tumble out of the 8? I can think of a few.
After that, I'll share my ladder prediction as I "officially" think it will play out. I'll also tell you who I think is going to win the Brownlow and the Coleman. I did tip the Lions to win the Grand Final last year, but as a Geelong supporter, I sure wish I was wrong.
