I’m a lifetime Collingwood supporter. I have been there for some incredible moments in the club’s history, including the 2010 Grand Final win, some of their best home and away season wins and the day certain great players came, such as the lanky Yanky Mason Cox, one of my favourites.
I have a family connection to Collingwood; my family are showies (or carnies as Americans would say) and my parents and grandma used to have a contract with the club to have our rides and games at all club events such as jumper presentation day and family day. We did this at the old home ground, Victoria Park, the MCG and at the current training ground, Olympic Oval. I would get to see all my childhood heroes at Collingwood a couple of times a year, and it was amazing.
My most memorable game is the 2010 Grand Final. It was the first Collingwood premiership I ever saw happen, as I was born in 1993.
